Tensions boiled over during Salford Cityβs fiery local derby against Oldham Athletic, as a group of home fans stormed the pitch to vent their anger at club co-owner Gary Neville.

Midway through the second half, a number of Salford supporters broke through the barriers and entered the pitch, holding banners and chanting against Neville.
Security staff and police quickly intervened to restore order.

The protest follows Nevilleβs recent controversial remarks about βmiddle-aged white menβ β comments that many supporters felt were unfair and divisive.
Some fans have since branded the former Manchester United defender a βtraitorβ, accusing him of being out of touch with the very supporters who helped build the clubβs identity.

Outside the stadium, fans could be heard chanting βNeville out!β while others took to social media to demand he step back from his public and political commentary.

Three men have been arrested so far after the incident, confirmed by the Police.
