A woman suffered serious injuries after she was shot in Scarborough late Wednesday night.
Toronto police were called to a residential neighbourhood at McCowan Road and Eglinton Avenue just after 11 p.m. for reports of a shooting.
Officers found a female victim who had been shot. She was taken to the hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
A house was also struck by gunfire.
There’s no word on any suspects.
