According to Football Insider, Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid would all like to sign Adam Wharton in January, but the young midfielder has no intention of leaving Crystal Palace in midseason.
Wharton joined Palace from Blackburn Rovers, his boyhood club, in 2024 and there is still almost four years left on his contract at Selhurst Park, which puts the South-London club in a strong position to reject any potential offers for his services. Further more, the 21-year-old obviously feels his place is at Selhurst Park, where he’s a regular member of the starting XI under Oliver Glasner and enjoys playing both in the Premier League and Europe.
At his age, playing regularly is certainly vital, especially with the World Cup being played next summer and a place in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad for the tournament Wharton’s for the taking – providing he continues showing the quality he possesses on a regular basis.
