Tempe, AZ – In July 2025, the NCAA published a negotiated resolution that contained undisputed facts regarding tampering violations (the “Undisputed OSU Tampering Violations”) committed by the Oklahoma State’s women’s tennis program during the 2024 team season. This 2024 team season included the participation of the Oklahoma State’s women’s tennis program in the 2024 ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship (and the “winning” of that Championship).
As part of the accepted sanctions for the Undisputed OSU Tampering Violations, Oklahoma State mutually agreed with the NCAA to vacate all wins for its women’s tennis program in which ineligible athletes competed. Oklahoma State has already adjusted its public records and its women’s tennis program’s 2024 team win-loss record to reflect this negotiated penalty with the NCAA.
In light of the Undisputed OSU Tampering Violations and Oklahoma State’s admissions and record adjustments to date, the ITA Division I Women’s Operating Committee voted unanimously to vacate the Oklahoma State women’s tennis program’s 2024 ITA Division I Women’s National Team Indoor Championship. Like Oklahoma State has done with its records, the ITA will be designating this 2024 Championship as “vacated” in all appropriate public areas and records.
