While on the second stop of his three-country tour of Asia, President Donald Trump met with Japan’s newly elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi. After, while addressing American troops on a U.S. carrier, he referenced his controversial use of the military at home saying, if necessary, he’ll go further with his domestic deployments to American cities. “We’ll send more than the National Guard because we’re going to have safe cities.” NBC’s Peter Alexander reports for TODAY.
