Third-choice goalkeeper Freddy Woodman set to make Liverpool debut against Crystal Palace in Carabao Cup (Video)

Liverpool, whose form can only be described as woeful at the moment, are preparing for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup where they’ll face Crystal Palace, a team they’ve already failed to beat twice this season.

Second-choice goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili would probably get to start this game, but with first-choice Alisson Becker injured, the Georgian now plays in the Premier League. This probably means that Freddie Woodman, the third choice, who was born close to Selhurst Park, will get to make his club debut against the team that he supported as a boy.
