The gone viral chant from Hearts fans set to take over English football as it grows in popularity

We have a watch of the gone viral chant from Hearts fans which is set to take over English football as it grows in popularity.

A video has been posted this week of Hearts belting out a song for Portuguese striker Claudio Braga, to the tune of Queen’s Radio Ga Ga.

It praises his skill, joy, and Gorgie legacy, with Braga earlier this season calling it a “dream” and was shocked fans learned every word.

The chant is gaining traction and tipped to spread across English football. Have a listen to it below…

Full lyrics of the chant:

“I sit alone, and watch your light and dream about European nights.
And everything, we need to know, our number 10 is Claudio…

You remind me of those all time stars, and every hero to play for Hearts.
You make us laugh, you make us cry, you make us feel like we can fly!

And you fill us, with so much joy, scoring goals for the Gorgie boys.
And so you know, we’ll always care and we’ll complain when you’re not there!

You have the pace!
You have the power!
You’re yet to have!
Your finest hour…
CLAUDIOOO!

ALL WE NEED IS, CLAUDIO BRAGA! CLAUDIO BRAGA! CLAUDIO BRAGA! ALL WE NEED IS, CLAUDIO BRAGA! CLAUDIO BRAGA! CLAUDIO BRAGA!

CLAUDIO WHAT’S NEW?
CLAUDIO! GORGIE STILL LOVES YOU!”

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

❤️ Striking a partnership
🏆 Winning the league?
🙌 Enjoying their strong start

Claudio Braga said: “It’s always good when the fans are on your side – and getting a song so early and getting the support I felt from the crowd, I’m delighted with that.

“I’m very, very happy because it was already a dream to come here. So to get here and make the impact that I’ve had, I’m very grateful to God

“When I heard the song for the first time, I was shocked. In my head I was like, ‘Jesus, I don’t think anybody will learn that song’. And then they just started singing the whole song and I was even more shocked.

“Because I thought, ‘okay, the last part with the chorus everybody will sing if I score a goal, but I need to score for everybody’.

“I’m very, very grateful for that and it hopefully shows that I’m trying to do a good job.”

@pnefcfjb: all we need is, odel offiah #pnefc

@Benhadlington1:
We have no pace
We have no goals
Our injury list is the same old
Albionnnnn
All we want is… one shot on target
One shot on target
One shot on target

@gregpne: All we need is Jordan Storey

@ThomasTParker: I give it three months until 75% of all clubs in Britain have a version of this, with at least half of them claiming they sang it first.

@Little_lee82: Great chant that.. but we struggle to sing BLUE ARMY in unison, so never happening at Portman Road #itfc

@BenHall873466: Right so who we giving this to 😂 Absolute class #wafc

@arctic_jambo: Anybody else’s timeline just been full of English fans discovering the Braga chant?

@DannyTh00028694: This has to be one of the coolest terrace songs I’ve heard in years. Long may he play for you so you can sing it for many years yet. Hats off to you boys; it’s a banger. 🍺

@ycfcpike: Need a York city version @YfrontFanzine @YCSP84 😂

@nfthatjt: Incredible chant tbf to them. No doubt the likes of Scunthorpe and Shewsbury will be out with their own versions before long

@PazzaSAFC: In March I watched Claudio Braga play for Aalesund in the Norwegian second division…he carried the ball the length of the pitch rounded the keeper to score then pulled out the CR7 celebration. Fast forward to now he’s helping Hearts challenge for the SPL title, I love football🤣

@sked21: Half the day has been spent rewatching this.

@Adam_Webster96: Class chant but unfortunately all 72 EFL clubs are about to ruin this

@Paulfleming__: That might be chant for the century wow

@BigGazLaw: That’s what footballs about.

@PeterWard3: Every football chant just sounds miles better in a scottish accent dont it… top drawer

@Dan_Gardner8: Every tinpot club in league 1 and 2 will be nicking this from hearts now. 🤮

@THEGORGIETRUTH:
Still football up here.
Still matters to players.
Hard to care on 100k+ a week.

@CatholicHibs: Football is still a working class sport up here

@PaulAllan2023: Light years ahead of the tourist Premier League when it comes to the fans.

@Dan_Gardner8: Proper fan culture.

@alexcmfc: This chant is going to have 45 EFL variants within a month.

@OwlSheffield: Imo it should be ” Starmer is a ⚓” every football club fans sing 😛

@GBotRobot: As a supporter of a so-called “diddy team” and hoping Hearts can go all the way this season, I’d like to now formally petition that they be awarded the league title immediately for this absolute masterpiece of a terrace chant.
