The Singapore Corporate Counsel Association (SCCA) is set to host its 10th Annual Black-Tie event on 19 November at the Atlas Bar in Parkview Square.
With the theme 1920s: The Great Gatsby Extravaganza, the SCCA will commemorate its 22nd anniversary by honouring excellence within the in-house profession through two awards. The 9th Chief Legal Officer Awards, which recognise outstanding leadership across corporate, multinational and public-sector organisations, and the 2nd Heroes of Pro Bono Excellence (HOPE) Award, which celebrates legal departments demonstrating exceptional commitment to community service.
Bryan Yeo, SCCA’s chief executive officer, said: “Beyond recognition, it is also a time for reflection and connection as we look ahead to initiatives that will further advance our mission and the in-house counsel profession.”
Guest of honour Eric Chua, senior parliamentary secretary at the Ministry of Law and the Ministry of Social and Family Development, will join the in-house counsel, partners and industry leaders in celebrating the profession’s achievements over the past year.
