The Pittsburgh Steelers should discover today the extent of the injury to Aaron Rodgers that saw the veteran quarterback exit yesterday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rodgers went down on his left wrist seconds before half-time after being tackled and did not appear for the rest of the game.
ESPN reported he has suffered a “slight break” in his non-throwing wrist and will undergo further tests today to determine the severity of the problem.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said: “He was excited about the win. I just talked to him, but that’s all we talked about. We didn’t talk about his injury. We talked about the significance of the win.”
Rudolph comes in and gets the job done
Back-up QB Mason Rudolph played the second half as the Steelers won 34-12, finishing 12-of-16 passing for 127 yards and a touchdown.
“Mason’s proven in the past what he showed today,” Tomlin said. “That’s why we value him as a member of this collective and are appreciative of his play – and certainly Kenny Gainwell made play after play for us, winning in the flat and so forth, but a lot of guys did.”
Ramsey ejected and claims he was spat on by Chase
A physical contest was also notable for a fourth-quarter bust-up between Steelers defensive back Jalen Ramsey and the Bengals’ star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase.
Ramsey was ejected after throwing a punch at Chase after claiming he had been spat on.
“He spit on me,” Ramsey said. “I don’t give a f— about football after that, respectfully. I’m always going to be all for trash talking, s— talking, things like that. I actually enjoy that part of the game. I think that people know that. … We were talking s—, which I’m cool with. And then as soon as he spit, it was f— that. … I’m sure the NFL, they’ll do their due diligence. They’ve got 100 cameras out there. They can investigate. They can see everything. … They should be able to pull it up and see that he spit and it’s whatever after that, to be honest. I was still a little too nice if I’m keeping it honest with you.”
Chase denied any wrongdoing.
“I ain’t ever opened my mouth to that guy,” Chase told reporters. “I didn’t spit on nobody.”
