Tyreak Sapp is one of those “strong as a bull” type of edge prospects, combining size—he’s listed at 6’2.5″, 272 pounds—and heavy hands to be a good run defender at the next level. He’s limited as a pass-rusher, though.
Sapp went to Florida as a 4-star recruit in the 2021 class and redshirted during his first year on campus. He was a rotational player as a redshirt freshman before becoming a starter the following year and enjoying a breakout campaign in 2024, collecting 47 tackles, 13 for loss and seven sacks during that season.
However, the Gator has not received any postseason recognition as of Oct. 14, 2025.
