Since his arrival, Messi’s impact has been profound both on and off the field. In the 2025 regular season, he scored 29 goals and collected the MLS Golden Boot. Under his influence, Inter Miami secured the 2023 Leagues Cup and the 2024 Supporters’ Shield, raising the club’s profile and commercial value substantially.
The timing of the renewal aligns with the club’s planned move into its new stadium, Miami Freedom Park, which is scheduled to open in 2026. Messi’s extended stay helps underpin the project’s long-term vision.
