Leeds fans have the last laugh at Wolves fans behind them after coming from behind to win 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Daniel Farke’s side claimed their second Premier League win of the season, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Anton Stach and Noah Okafor getting on the scoresheet after Ladislav Krejci had put Wolves ahead.
The result was Leeds’ first Premier League away win of the season, taking them into the top half, sitting 11th with 7 points, while Wolves remain pointless at the bottom of the table.

Wolves head coach Vitor Pereira, speaking to BBC Match Of The Day: “The first half we are not aggressive under pressure, especially the defenders. They played with a lot of space. We were not doing our pressure in the way we need to do it. We are trying to correct the mistakes but they happen again.
“The second half was different. We didn’t conceded anything to them. We were not in the best level defending in the first half. We created some chances to score int he second half, but it’s not easy because they defended with a low block.”
Pereira to Sky Sports: “My opinion after our goal: we are not aggressive on the pressure. We conceded spaces that we cannot concede playing at home. We committed some mistakes that we cannot.
“The second half was better, trying to push them to force the mistakes, to create problems with crosses into the box, and we created chances to score. But we didn’t. We have to work, must work and must improve.
“The effort of the players in the second half, they tried everything but against a low block is not easy. They defend a result and I understand. If we score for 3-2, it’s different.
“But if you concede the first goal and the free-kick they score a second, and we gave them the third one, it’s difficult.
“I don’t care about security in football. I just want to correct, increase the level of our team and compete for the three points. That’s the important thing. I’m not worried about the future or the contract, I’m not worried about this.”
Leeds boss Daniel Farke, speaking to BBC Match Of The Day: “Today we were more effective in both boxes, and scored three goals. I am pretty happy and delighted to have three precious points. What I liked it as 1-0 down we stuck to our plans and our processes. We scored three fantastic goals.
“We know what Dominic Calvert-Lewin is capable of doing for us. We went for it after that goal. We dropped deeper in the second half and I would have preferred more possession but it was an important win for us. I liked that we showed steel in the second half.
“We created many chances and shots in previous games but didn’t have the cutting edge. It was a focus in training this week, but sometimes you just need an opener and it’s a bit like a bottle of ketchup! I am pleased for the offensive players. Confidence is very important.”
Farke to Sky Sports: “It’s always good for the players, the confidence, the forward players. For Dominic, for Noah. Anton had an impressive start to Premier League life. But it was also never in doubt as we created enough chances in the first game, sometimes you are a bit unlucky and then you have to fight and ask more questions. That’s what we did today. We know we are capable to push opponents back and ask questions.
“Dominic is a proven goalscorer, he has the instinct of where he has to be. He is outstanding with his head.
“It was never in doubt, we don’t even have to speak about it. He is a proven player at this level, pretty mature, leads the line and is smart in his tactical behaviour.
“He’s a goal threat up front, it’s just a matter of getting him fit today. An impressive away performance, full compliment to him.”
Jorgen Strand Larsen said, per Sky Sports: “Bad – simple as that. We’re in a really, really tough spot right now. I’m really disappointed in all of us. No one wants to be in this situation but we have no one or nothing else to complain about. Only ourselves.
“We are 1-0 up today, everything is perfect. We can’t give away the goals we gave away. It kills us and the kills the people who want to come into the game too and want to make a change.
“It’s about the mentality of all of us. We need to do better every day from now on. Otherwise this league is too tough to be playing like this.
“I’ve been out of the pitch for a while now but it does give a similar vibe to the other goals we’ve conceded. Too easy, crosses, giving away passes. The goal we scored showed the quality in the team. We have so many quality players, but then again we can only be good on the ball sometimes.
“That was a really good goal and sometimes we need to be able to win 1-0 or 2-0 at home and not concede. That’s not about a defender or a goalkeeper, but that’s all of us. We need to really make sure our mentality is changing now, otherwise it will be a long season.
“I believe in us and the players, the manager and the club. What we have is something really special and something really good. We showed that last year when we went on a six-game winning spell. We have the quality definitely.
“We just need to find those small details that puts us in the right way instead of conceding and losing games. We’re missing a bit of flair and fight in us. That will come, it needs to come quick.”
This is how Twitter users reacted as Leeds fans have the last laugh at Wolves fans after coming from behind to win 3-1…
@FergusonStuart: Imagine our shock. It’s almost as if continually downgrading the squad over the last 3 years has made us consistently worse. We’ve even managed to downgrade from Fabio and Sasa which is hilarious. We’re down. Cheers Jeff.
@WolvesFanJames: This club is run by idiots. Nothing will change until they’ve gone. Maybe the best thing to happen is for us to go down so they will fuck off and we can have a reset. #wwfc
@Pete_Ches: Championship here we come! Only question is whether we beat the lowest points total.
@AgbaDouDouDou: Fosun has sucked all love, passion, fight, potential, promise, soul, joy, ambition, grit and heart out of this club. Get the fuck out. As soon as fucking possible. #WWFC #FosunOut
@subwayarmy39: Mass protests are needed and everyone needs to not spend anything at the games or in the club shop. Only way to hit them is in the pocket! We are partly to blame by standing by and allowing them to rip this club apart! #fosunout #FuckJeff #wwfc @Wolves
@Jlow3wwfc: I can remember when Moxey and Morgan used to get terrorised in the stadium and out. How’s this shower of shite Shi even able to attend games any more with all the shit he’s dropped us in year after year? We are so finished as a club #wwfc
@NickAllen224: Well done Fosun. You’ve finally erased any anger I had towards what you’ve done to our club and replaced it with pure fatigue and depression. It’s not going to get better. I’d tell you to sell up and stop hurting Wolves but I know you won’t. #WWFC
@futwwfc: Disgrace of a club. Not one person at this club cares about it. Many of us from Wolves grow up with nothing, the football club is one thing we have to grasp an ounce of pride. Now we’re being bled dry by a conglomerate, who couldn’t care less. It’s not funny anymore. #wwfc
“You’ve sold the team, now sell the club”
