The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) celebrated its 14th annual Art+Film Gala on November 1, drawing nearly 600 big names from the worlds of art, film, fashion, and entertainment. This year’s bash paid tribute to artist Mary Corse and filmmaker Ryan Coogler, the director of Sinners. After a brief delay, courtesy of the Dodgers and a nail-biting World Series finale, the fundraiser resumed with some emotional speeches and a captivating performance by Doja Cat.
LACMA’s CEO Michael Govan told the star-studded audience: “We’re art, film, creativity, all deeply intertwined. I always say this is the most creative place on Earth, and you are it, here, all of you.”
Co-chaired by LACMA trustee Eva Chow and Leonardo DiCaprio, the gala set a new fundraising record, bringing in nearly $6.5 million to support LACMA’s mission: integrating film more deeply into its curatorial programs and advancing the museum’s broader artistic vision.
The 2025 Art+Film Gala was sponsored by Gucci, LACMA’s presenting sponsor since the event’s inception in 2011.

Glam Fam: Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford

Among the guests were fashion powerhouse Cindy Crawford and her daughter Kaia Gerber. Gerber chose a bold lipstick red design covered in sequins (which harked back to the red-hot Versace dress her mum sported at the 1991 Oscars, alongside Richard Gere). Crawford opted for a golden off-the-shoulder number.
Gerber obviously thinks her mom is cool. Crawford once told Vogue: “We recently went to an event, and Kaia found an old Alaïa dress that I had. Nothing makes me happier. If she wants to wear something that I wore 30 years ago, what bigger compliment is that?”

All Eyes on Cynthia Erivo

British actress and singer Cynthia Erivo wore an eye-catching Schiaparelli gown adorned with… eyes. Designed by Daniel Roseberry and taken from the couture label’s Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, the pearl-embellished, 3D eyes made followed onlookers from every angle. The optical illusion (textbook Schiaparelli) was made all the more dramatic with the winged accent falling from the the bodice.

American model and influencer Alex Consani went for a see-through Gucci number, which was probably no surprise given she was seated next to the fashion house’s creative director, Demna Gvasalia, who incidentally, was also sporting Gucci. Actress Demi Moore and her daughter, Tallulah Willis, were also in tow.

LACMA’s CEO Govan announced on the night that the fundraiser had brought in a record-breaking $6.5 million, funds that will support the museum’s efforts to make film a more integral part of its curatorial programming, among other initiatives. American artist James Turrell (not pictured) then took to the stage to pay tribute to Mary Corse, the star of the night, praising her as “one of the keepers of the light.”

Media icon and heiress Paris Hilton arrived at the 2025 LACMA Art+Film Gala on Saturday as one of the event’s trustees, accompanied by her husband, Carter Reum. She wore head-to-toe Gucci, donning a sheer lace gown with a plunging V-neckline layered over a nude bodysuit. She completed the ensemble with a matching lace choker, diamond bracelets, black pointed-toe heels, and her signature voluminous waves.
