We’re hit the ground running this fall with a slew of stellar looks from Jennifer Lawrence, a significant contributor to the compendium of seasonal city dressing. The actor, who has been on a strict schedule of red carpets, promo interviews, and premieres for her forthcoming movie Die, My Love, has had a chance to get back to New York City and cozy up. The Dior spring 2026 designs are on hold, for a minute, in favor of some of Lawrence’s favored fall trends.
Photographed yesterday (October 23) in New York with her parents, Lawrence donned a suede leopard print coat, with loose black trousers, black lug boots, and a navy graphic baseball cap, all tied together with a big, bright red scarf. It was a classic Jennifer Lawrence look: the actor often looks to leopard print—a Marlene Birger coat, an archival Prada bag—to add some interest to her polished looks, as well as a flash of on-trend red with her accessories or knitwear—sometimes The Row, or it-girl fave Leset.

Considered a neutral by those in the know, a leopard coat is the ultimate fall and winter wardrobe staple, and animal print continues to make a roaring comeback for the tail end of 2025. Sofia Richie Grainge, for one, is repping deer print, while Kim Kardashian remains a fan of the croc. A pop of red is also an easily replicable styling trick that Lawrence calls upon often, and that you’ll often see referenced in looks from Bella Hadid, to Kendall Jenner, and Kate Holmes too.
While she’s a dedicated fan of The Row’s sophisticated form of minimalism, Lawrence has no problem with dressing in bold patterns and colors. The aforementioned leopard print By Malene Birger has been out on more than one occasion, but she’s also matched its energy with a bold cobalt blue sweater styled in multiple ways.
