Finsec Law Advisors has opened a new office in Bengaluru, adding to its branch in Mumbai in a move to support the development of India’s financial markets.
“The opening of our Bengaluru office marks an exciting new chapter in Finsec’s journey. As financial services and technology continue to converge, proximity to our clients in this vibrant region will enable us to provide even more agile, insightful, and practical legal solutions,” said Sandeep Parekh, managing partner for Finsec Law.
The Bengaluru office would position the firm closer to the city’s network of financial institutions, fintech companies, funds and startups, the firm said. The office would also support the firm’s growing work in fintech regulation, ESG compliance, digital assets and legal technology, it said.
Finsec advises listed companies, intermediaries, funds and exchanges on transaction structuring, wealth management, fintech, corporate governance, as well as investor activism. The firm also handles high-stakes litigation, and works with regulators on policy and reform matters.
