Our goal with introducing Event Cancellation Insurance was twofold: first, to help organizers avoid financial losses from refunds; and second, to offer attendees protection against unexpected, unavoidable situations – a true win-win for everyone involved. As always, thank you for sharing with us. It’s clear: your voice helps shape what we do.Here’s what’s new:
- Event organizers can now see who purchased Vertical Insure event cancellation insurance on the attendee’s registration.
- Attendee’s can now see if they have purchased Vertical Insure event cancellation insurance from their attendee dashboard.
- Attendees can now purchase event cancellation insurance when registering someone else or when registering and paying with credits.
- Attendees can choose to purchase event cancellation insurance when editing their registration and haven’t previously purchased a policy.

- As the organizer, what do I need to do when an attendee cancels but has signed up for Event Cancellation Insurance?
Absolutely nothing. After purchasing coverage, registrants will receive a confirmation email from Vertical Insure, which includes detailed instructions on how to file a claim and answers to common questions. If they need further assistance, they can easily reach out to support@verticalinsure.com, where their support team is ready to help with any concerns. - Where can I see if the attendee has purchased the insurance so I don’t accidentally refund them?
