According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace have identified West Ham defender Maximilian Kilman as a potential replacement for Marc Guehi, should the England international leave during the January transfer window.
Guehi was on the verge of joining Liverpool in a late summer move which fell through at the eleventh hour, and while the interest of the Premier League champions remains, Real Madrid are said to be considering a swoop for his services on a free transfer as well. Both clubs are believed to be pitching the idea of a free transfer next summer to the player who will be out of contract by then, but a January sale cannot be ruled out either at this point.
And if Guehi does leave Palace, the South Londoners could make their move for Kilman, who has so far made 49 appearances in all competitions for West Ham since joining from Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2024. They will, however, be aware that the 28-year-old is under contract with the Hammers until 2031.
