According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Chelsea are preparing a huge offer to sign Samuel Omorodion from FC Porto at the end of the season. The figure in question is believed to be well above the €100million mark.
Omorodion, also known as Samu Aghehowa, only joined Porto last year from Atletico Madrid for a fee of €32million. Boasting plenty of pace and standing 6’3” tall, he’s not exactly a type of player defenders like to face.
Since the start of this season, the Spanish international has scored 10 goals in 12 matches across all competitions. Such numbers will always attract attention from top European clubs, especially with the fact that this fantastic striker still only 21 years old in mind.
Omorodion’s contract with Porto does not expire before 2029, but unless another, even bigger offer arrives for his services, more than €100 million will surely prove enough for the Dragons to let him leave.
