In the latest example of it dogfooding solutions before launching them, CelcomDigi Bhd has launched The MediHub, a 5G-powered healthcare facility that provides its employees with easy access to professional healthcare services directly from the workplace. The MediHub is fully operated by Klinik Dr. Shah and is the sole licensed healthcare provider responsible for all medical assessments, diagnosis, treatment decisions, prescriptions, and patient care. On-site operations are managed by the clinic’s medical assistants, and all virtual consultations are conducted by licensed doctors from Klinik Dr. Shah.
Located at CelcomDigi Hub, the smart health solution supports holistic employee wellbeing, offering comprehensive physical and mental health services through virtual consultations with licensed medical practitioners, psychiatrists and psychologists. Beyond treating illnesses, The MediHub is designed to create a safe and supportive environment where employees can grow and thrive at work.
The MediHub features two dedicated zones, the Care Room and Mind Room. The Care Room brings the clinic experience to employees virtually, offering teleconsultations with licensed medical practitioners. Employees can receive medical advice, diagnoses and prescriptions from the comfort of their workplace. Supporting this process, MediKiosk, a smart health station, performs quick vital checks and generates instant health reports, ensuring every consultation starts with accurate, real-time data.
The Mind Room offers a private space dedicated to mental wellness. Employees can access private counselling and emotional support from licensed psychiatrists and psychologists, engage in stress management sessions, and unwind in a quiet relaxation area. The Mind Room also offers self-assessment tools to employees such as DASS-21 (Depression, Anxiety and Stress Scale-21), helping them gain insights into their emotional wellbeing and take proactive steps towards mental resilience.

Through AiX, CelcomDigi is accelerating the adoption of healthcare solutions that benefit enterprises and the nation, while applying these innovations for its employees. A similar telehealth use-case beyond the Klang Valley that was implemented includes one with a teaching hospital in Kuching, Hospital Pengajar Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (HPUNIMAS).
