BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 8. Azerbaijan rose to
second place in the medal standings at the III CIS Games, the
official website of the competition says, Trend reports.
Azerbaijan currently has 33 gold, 53 silver, and 92 bronze
medals. Russia leads the medal count with 124 gold, 61 silver, and
40 bronze medals, while Belarus is third with 32 gold, 35 silver,
and 52 bronze medals.
So far, athletes from 10 countries have won medals in the
competition.
The III CIS Games will conclude on October 8.
