All the new flights to and from Spain in 2026

If you’re set to make more travel a new year’s resolution in 2026, you’re in luck as there will be a whole host of new routes to and from Spain next year.

Whether you’re looking for new destinations because you want to explore or you want to visit friends and family more often next year, there are a raft of new routes in 2026, from connections with Canada and the US, to Argentina, Colombia and many to and from the UK. 

Madrid to Toronto (Canada)

Iberia will begin operating between Madrid and Toronto from June 13th 2026 with weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Madrid to Buenos Aires (Argentina)

Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas will begin a new route between Madrid and the Argentine capital from May 23rd 2026.

Barcelona to Seattle (US) 

Delta Airlines announced a new route between Barcelona and Seattle ​​which will begin operating in May 2026 with three weekly flights. 

Santiago de Compostela to New York (US)

United Airlines will begin operating a new route between the Galician city and the Big Apple on May 28th 2026, which will run three days a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m until September 12th 2026. 

Madrid to Cartagena (Colombia)

World2Fly will launch flights between the Spanish capital and the Colombian coastal city from July 3rd 2026.

Barcelona to London Luton (UK)

Starting March 29th, 2026, Wizz Air operate new flights to and from five Spanish cities. There will be daily flights from Barcelona to London Luton, with a total of 10 weekly frequencies. It will operate two daily flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and one daily flight on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Bilbao to London Luton (UK)

Wizz Air will also begin operating flights on March 29th 2026 from the Basque city of Bilbao to London with five weekly flights each.

Valencia, Seville and Madrid to London Luton (UK)

The other three Wizz Air routes to take off on March 29th are Valencia, Seville to London Luton with four weekly frequencies and Madrid, which will have one daily flight to the British capital.

Reus to Bristol (UK) 

easyJet will begin offering flights between the Catalan city of Reus and Bristol in the UK every Thursday and Sunday from June 25th 2026. 

Reus to Newcastle (UK) 

easyJet will also operate flights from Reus to Newcastle from from March 31st, 2026.

Madrid to Lille (France)

Voltea will begin flying between Madrid and Lille in May 2026 with two weekly frequencies, on Mondays and Fridays, offering approximately 6,500 seats.

Seville to Lille (France)

Also staring in May 2026, Voltea will offer two weekly flights on Thursdays and Sundays between Seville and Lille.

Seville to Florence (Italy)

Voltea will also begin to operate flights between the Andalusian capital and Florence from September 2026 with two weekly flights, on Mondays and Fridays, offering more than 3,000 seats.

Tenerife to London Gatwick (UK)

Jet2 has announced a whole raft of new flights in 2026. The first flight from London Gatwick will depart to Tenerife on 26th March 2026. 

Other Jet2 flights starting in summer 2026 include:

Fuerteventura to London Gawick(UK): two flights a week (Wednesday and Sunday)

Gran Canaria to London Gatwick (UK): two flights a week (Wednesday and Sunday)

Lanzarote to London Gatwick (UK): two flights a week (Tuesday and Saturday)

Tenerife-South to London Gatwick (UK): three flights a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday)

Ibiza to London Gatwick (UK): two flights a week (Monday and Friday)

Mallorca to London Gatwick (UK): 10 flights a week (every day and two daily flights on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays)

Menorca to London Gatwick (UK): three flights a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday)

Alicante to London Gatwick (UK): five flights a week (every day except Tuesday and Wednesday)

Málaga to London Gatwick (UK): four flights a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday)

Girona to London Gatwick (UK): three flights a week (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday)

Reus to London Gatwick (UK): three flights a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
