Future Hall of Famer Albert Pujols may be returning to the sport in a major role soon enough.
According to Jon Heyman of the New York Post, the Pujols will interview for the Los Angeles Angels managerial position after Ron Washington’s contract option for the 2025 season wasn’t exercised.
Per Sam Blum, Katie Woo, and Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, Pujols is “believed to be the leading choice for the job for Angels owner Arte Moreno.”
