Canisia Lubrin is a poet and editor. Her books include Code Noir, Voodoo Hypothesis, and The Dyzgraphxst. Her work has been recognized with the Carol Shields Prize for Fiction, the Windham-Campbell Prize for poetry, the Griffin Poetry Prize, and the OCM Bocas Prizes for Caribbean Literature and for Poetry, among others.
