Only four games into the 2025 NFL season, the future of Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown is a topic of discussion around the league, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.
Pointing to Brown’s three-year, $96 million contract, Fowler noted that trading the three-time Pro Bowler would carry an additional cost for Philly. Still, people inside the NFL aren’t ruling the idea out.
“Some execs I spoke to this week don’t expect Philadelphia to trade Brown in-season but said that it could be something to entertain in the offseason,” the insider wrote. “It’s sort of the worst-kept secret inside the league that Brown’s love-hate relationship with Philly’s passing game bubbles to the surface from time to time. He’s a true competitor and wants to be great. With that comes emotion and inevitable frustration.”
