Ukraine’s ex-president Poroshenko: ‘Corruption scandal is the biggest danger for Ukraine'

In an interview with FRANCE 24, Ukraine’s former president Petro Poroshenko described the ongoing corruption scandal as “the biggest danger for Ukraine”. His comments come as President Volodymyr Zelensky visits Paris. The scandal, which involves an estimated $100 million allegedly laundered through the energy sector, is reported to implicate Timur Mindich, a close ally of Zelensky. “This is the big test for President Zelensky,” Poroshenko said, warning that “our trust is at stake.”
