Fanatics constructed a costly advertisement to hype its annual Fanatics Fest this summer.
The company commissioned a billboard and mural and includes shadow boxes of game-worn jerseys from NFL legends Joe Montana, Peyton Manning and Johnny Unitas along with Los Angeles Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani:
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Fanatics estimates the jerseys to be worth more than $1.5 million.
Security is presumably tight because this sounds like the genesis for a heist film.
Fanatics Fest is scheduled for July 16-19 in New York City. It figures to be a star-studded affair with LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Tom Brady, John Cena, Victor Wembanyama and Derek Jeter among the luminiaries who took part in 2025.
