A new Autograph Collection hotel opens on November 12 on the Samaná Peninsula, a lush, less-developed region along the Dominican Republic’s northeastern coast, known for palm-fringed beaches and quiet villages.

Donoma Las Terrenas Beach & Spa, Autograph Collection, features 94 guest rooms, suites, and multi-room villas in the beachside resort town of Las Terrenas. Interiors favor neutral tones, natural textures, and handcrafted artwork by local makers. Villas range from one to four bedrooms and also come with private pools and full kitchens.

The resort’s dining program offers a range of options rooted in local flavor. Mornings begin with a wellness-focused spread featuring tropical fruit bowls, organic honey, and homemade brioche. The all-day restaurant SolMarella serves fresh ceviche, pizza, and pastas, then, at night, transforms into a steakhouse specializing in charcoal-grilled meats, seafood, and vegetables for sharing.
