Rosalía knows how to keep us curious.
Yesterday, the Spanish singer—whose latest album, Lux, came out last week—appeared on the show La Revuelta in Madrid. Rosalía grabbed our attention in a black vintage Alexander McQueen halter top, the neckline strung together with a rosary that hung down her chest. (This isn’t the first time she’s worn a piece from the spring 2003 collection: stylist Jose Carayol also dressed the singer in a pair of the rosary heels for her “Berghain” music video.)

Rosalía paired her peplum silk top with a shin-length black skirt, completing the monochromatic look with a pair of black pointy-toe heels. But what really piqued our interest was the silver suitcase the singer rolled behind her.
Perhaps we’re just unaccustomed to seeing celebrities schlepping their own belongings, but we couldn’t help but wonder: What could possibly be in her bag? Bottles of purple shampoo to keep her blonde halo from turning brassy? A violin for any spontaneous orchestral needs? Even more pieces from McQueen’s spring 2003 collection?
Although she bared her soul to us on Lux, it’s clear Rosalía hasn’t completely surrendered her sense of mystery.
