I’ve worn the Quince Stretch Crepe Pleated Wide Leg Pants everywhere from the office to brunch, thanks to their simple yet elegant look that can be dressed up or down.
-
They are naturally wrinkle-resistant and stay smooth even after being packed tightly in a suitcase.
-
The material has enough weight to keep them opaque but is breezy enough to keep you comfortable in warm weather.
As someone who works remotely full-time, I don’t have a huge selection of business casual attire, so I put a lot of thought into the pieces I buy. And after trying on the Quince Stretch Crepe Pleated Wide Leg Pants, I knew I had made a good choice. They’re comfortable, versatile, and wrinkle-resistant—a perk that comes in handy as a frequent traveler.
It took me a long time to find the perfect pair of trousers that can be worn at the office, on a plane, and even to brunch, and I think Quince really nailed it here. My personal style tends to lean casual but I love that these offer a comfortable way to look polished with zero effort. The design is simple enough to pair them with sneakers or heels, and the fabric drapes in a universally flattering way. The cherry on top? They’re more affordable than most similar pants on the market. I only own one color at the moment, but the four other colors in my Quince cart think that won’t be true for long.

Versatile Styling
One of my favorite aspects of these pants is how versatile they are. As someone who wears some version of sneakers and jeans almost every day, slipping these on for something other than a work trip felt daunting at first. But the simple design makes them easy to pair with other casual pieces to bring the vibe from business to sporty-chic. My go-to pairings to these trousers are a crisp white tee (my favorites come from Uniqlo or Abercrombie) and equally crisp white sneakers (I’ve been loving my Adidas VL Court Sneakers, but I’ve had my eye on these ones from Gola for a while).
If the sporty look isn’t your vibe, I have great news: these trousers are just as easy to style for an elevated look. For work, these pair well with loafers (Vivaia makes the comfiest), a tailored button-up (this splurge-worthy option from Luxeire is unbelievably flattering), and a matching blazer from Quince. This combo is also the secret to a professional capsule wardrobe—a few options in each category in neutral colors allows you to mix and match for endless outfit combinations.
But Anne, what about date night or dinner with the girls? If you’re not really a dress-wearer like me, these trousers are going to be your secret weapon. You’ll never go wrong with a pair of comfortable heels and a high-quality leather jacket—this one from The Jacket Maker gets better with each wear, but you can find more wallet-friendly faux options as well. (Leather jackets are one of my favorite pieces to thrift—there are some real gems out there!)

Wrinkle-resistant Properties
For someone who travels as much as I do, I have a special knack for packing my clothes in a way that ensures maximum wrinkles when I get to my hotel. Although travel steamers and wrinkle-release sprays come in handy, the last thing I want to do on vacation is frantically try to smooth out the wrinkles on my pants as I’m rushing out the door to make a 9 a.m. tour.
This is yet another reason I’m obsessed with the Quince Stretch Crepe Pleated Wide Leg Pants. I don’t know how they do it, but these trousers are impressively wrinkle-resistant. I’ve packed them a handful of times for work trips and even after 8+ hours in a suitcase, they come out as drapey and pleated as ever. I store them haphazardly folded up in my closet (I know, not ideal, but I live in a tiny apartment and don’t have a lot of space, okay?), and I rarely see creases even when they’ve been sitting beneath three other pairs of pants for a month. If I do want to smooth things out, a few minutes in the dryer always does the trick. These are not safe to iron, according to the care instructions, but they can be washed in cold water and tumble dried on low heat, so caring for them is as easy as I could ask for.

Lightweight & Breathable Fabric
Aside from special occasions, I am a “comfort first, style second” person when it comes to my fashion choices. (Yes, I live in the Pacific Northwest. Why do you ask?) Fortunately, these Quince trousers are just as comfortable, if not more comfortable, than the majority of pants I own. Made from recycled polyester and spandex, the crepe fabric has a waterfall effect that drapes oh-so-perfectly from the waist down.
The material also has a bit of weight to it that prevents it from catching or riding up, but doesn’t feel thick. These pants are quite breathable—enough that I can comfortably wear them year-round. The elastic back waist adds to the overall comfort and lets me wear these sans belt—a rare feat for someone with a large hip-to-waist ratio. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the two functional—I repeat, functional—side pockets that are deep enough to hold your phone.
Final Thoughts
A good pair of slacks is hard to come by, but I couldn’t ask for a better option than these wide-leg pants from Quince. Flattering, versatile, and oh-so-comfortable, they’re a staple in my closet. I love that they can be dressed up or down and are so easy to care for, considering the high-quality fabric and design. They also come in eight colors and three inseam lengths to help you find the pair that fits perfectly. And at such an affordable price point compared to similar trousers, these are pants you can feel good about buying.
