When asked who deserves the credit for increasing our threat from set-plays, Amorim said: “Everyone, everyone. Since the staff, Carlos [Fernandes], he knows them very well. But again, especially the players. They are so much focused on every detail of the game and they understand the way we are going to play the game, that can change with one corner.
“Your strategy [sometimes] it depends on corners, on crosses. So I think the credit we need to give also to Carlos and Emanuel [Ferro], all the analyst guys, Kaita [Hasegawa], the guys that do an amazing job of understanding the idea of the opponents.
“But the credit is always [to] the players because they play the game.”
