Fantasy managers who feel like they’ve been overly active on the waiver wire this season probably aren’t imagining it. The list of star players who have suffered significant injuries has grown weekly, and the year has brought some flat-out unexpected draft busts.
Byes are also impacting the fantasy landscape, and this is shaping up to be one of the trickiest weeks of the season. The Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks will all be off in Week 8.
This means that a team comprised of Matthew Stafford, Jahmyr Gibbs, Ashton Jeanty, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Davante Adams, Amon-Ra St. Brown and Trey McBride and pretty much bank on a loss this week.
For managers only missing a couple of key players, though, some viable replacements may still be available on the waiver wire. Before we dig into this week’s top sleepers, though, let’s examine some early point-per-reception (PPR) flex rankings.
