Made by Malaysia: AI-powered IC design in the spotlight

  • Panel highlights Malaysia’s shift from Made in Malaysia to Made by Malaysia.
  • Brings together policymakers, industry leaders & innovators to shape tech, talent & policy

Malaysia is no longer just a hub for chip assembly and testing — it is rapidly evolving into a centre of innovation, stepping into the design labs where the future of chip technology is being shaped.

With artificial intelligence (AI) accelerating design cycles and setting new performance benchmarks, Malaysia is cultivating the engineers, researchers, and innovators needed to take on a greater role in the global semiconductor value chain.

This bold transformation will take centre stage at a special panel discussion during the Selangor Smart City & Digital Economy Convention (SDEC) 2025, which gathers policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to explore how technology, talent, and policy converge to shape the nation’s digital future.
