As the 2025 MLS campaign reaches its conclusion, battles in both the Eastern and Western Conferences look like they will be going right down to the wire.
With only a few more weeks remaining, we have what is a stacked schedule from across America’s elite in the early hours of Sunday.
For those of you looking to stick on a Sunday flutter, we have taken a glance at some of the most attractive MLS betting tips which are available.
01:30 Charlotte vs CF Montreal
Last seen putting in a flat performance as they fell to a deserved 2-0 loss away at New York City, Charlotte will be seeking an immediate response here. Nevertheless, despite watching their sensational purple patch come to an abrupt end last weekend, Dean Smith’s men should find the mood in their camp at a continued high. Skyrocketing their way up the Eastern Conference standings, the former Aston Villa boss could see his squad jump into bronze medal position here. Last seen at the Bank of America Stadium storming their way to a stunning 3-0 romp against Inter Miami, the Crown have won six of their previous seven appearances across all competitions. Smelling the chance to claim an immediate boost in the early hours of Sunday, Charlotte have also gained a reputation for their extended dominance on home soil. Along with winning their previous three straight showdowns in North Carolina by an aggregate score of 5-0, they have also won six of their last seven matchups in front of their own supporters.
Although Montreal might have clinched an action-packed 3-2 victory against Austin last month, it appears that was just a minor boost for the Impact. Suffering consecutive 1-0 defeats against the New York Red Bulls and St. Louis so far this month, interim boss Marco Donadel has a major job on his hands. Sat rock-bottom of the Eastern Conference standings and rightfully coming under a huge amount of scrutiny, Sunday’s guests certainly have the feel of a squad limping their way over the finishing line. In fact, Montreal have recorded just a single win from any of their previous nine appearances across all competitions within 90 minutes. It should also be highlighted, Le CFM have put just a pair of MLS victories on the board since the end of June. Pencilled in as a real underdog contender when they travel to North Carolina this weekend, Montreal fell to a 2-0 loss when they last traveled to the Bank of America Stadium back in October 2024.

03:30 Nashville SC vs Houston Dynamo
While Nashville might open this weekend’s fixtures clinging onto their spot in the play-off places, it is no secret that BJ Callaghan’s camp are desperately seeking some much-needed stability. Despite extending on their US Open Cup adventure earlier in the month as they cruised their way to a 3-1 victory at home against Philadelphia, the Coyotes came immediately crashing back down to earth last time out. Eventually falling to an action-packed 3-2 loss away at Orlando, the Tennessee-based outfit have now lost all of their previous three consecutive MLS showdowns by an aggregate score of 6-3. In fact, aside from a sensational 5-1 romp against Orlando on August 24th, Nashville have lost six of their last seven MLS appearances and the pressure on Callaghan’s shoulders is now at a boiling point. However, desperate to drag themselves to a lucrative play-off return, Sunday’s hosts should take some solace from their extended success on home soil. In fact, the Coyotes have suffered just a single defeat at Geodis Park since the end of March.
Managing to claim an essential boost last weekend as they snatched a 1-0 victory at home against Portland, Houston will be hoping to use that performance as a platform to build on heading into the final few weeks. Opening Sunday’s fixtures sat outside the play-off places by just a single point, Ben Olsen’s men face what could be a season-defining showdown here. However, losing all of their three Leagues Cup showdowns last month by an aggregate score of 8-2, La Naranja have once again failed to find any kind of fluidity. Including a 2-1 loss away at Colorado on September 14th, Houston have mustered just a pair of wins from any of their previous 14 appearances across all competitions – a run that stems all the way back to July 6th. Conceding at least a pair of goals in four of their last five contests outside of Texas, Olsen’s side have also mustered just a sole clean sheet on their travels since the middle of May.
