Mikel Arteta spent heavily in the summer transfer window to invest in his squad, particularly in the attacking positions.
The Spaniard brought Viktor Gyokeres, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke to the club to add more depth and quality to the attacking positions.
Gyokeres has started every match for the Premier League side this season and he is expected to remain the first choice attacker of the club for a long time.
Behind him is Kai Havertz, who is currently injured but it is clear that he is second in the pecking order when it comes to playing up front.
Arsenal to sell Gabriel Jesus in January?
That leaves Gabriel Jesus way down the pecking order and that is why, Mick Brown of the Football Insider feels that the Gunners are ready to accept offers for him in the January transfer window.
“I thought Jesus would have gone during the summer,” he told Football Insider.
“Obviously the reason he didn’t was the injury he’s been recovering from, clubs decided they would be better off waiting until he was back fit before making a move.
“He’s done a good job when he’s been in the Arsenal team, but it feels like he’s never been able to consistently nail down a place in the starting XI.
“When you see how Gyokeres has hit the ground running with a few goals already, it’s going to be hard for Jesus to get back in the team.
“He isn’t an out-and-out striker like he is, so it’s difficult to see where he fits in the manager’s plans.
“Now that they’ve got Gyokeres there and Havertz to come back as well, it doesn’t feel like there’s a place for him in the side.
“I expect they’ll be wanting to accept offers in January, because Arteta doesn’t see him as part of his plans and he’s going to want to play regular football.
“I hear they’re ready to let him go and I expect he’ll make that move in January if the right offer comes in for him.”

The Gunners might have sold Jesus in the summer but the striker was injured and that diminished any chance of him sealing a move away from the club.
Jesus is currently recovering from a long term ACL injury and he is expected to complete his recovery by the start of next year.
As far as the number nine position is concerned, the Gunners have Gyokeres and Havertz, as well as Trossard who can also play in that position.
The former Manchester City star is now coming to the end of his time at Arsenal and next year’s transfer window.
