Nancy Roy has taken the reins as managing partner of Lall & Sethi from Jyotideep Kaur, who has completed her two-year tenure.
Speaking to India Business Law Journal, Roy said, “I started at this law firm 15 years ago, fresh out of college. Becoming the managing partner has evoked a complex mix of emotions within me and is incredibly validating.”
“Aligning our firm’s strategic goals with its culture is crucial to achieve sustainable long-term growth, which in turn requires a thorough analysis of values within the firm itself.”
Roy brings more than 15 years of experience in intellectual property and commercial litigation and has played a key role in the firm’s growth and continuity.
“Balance will come from aligning everyone to move in the same direction with shared enthusiasm and urgency,” she adds.
Founder and senior advocate Chander Lall announced the management change.
