Lisa Yuan
King & Wood Mallesons has hired Lisa Yuan as an international partner at its Beijing office, bolstering the firm’s cross-border and international capital markets practice.
Yuan, who has 16 years of experience, focuses on cross-border transactions and international capital markets, with a strong track record in equity capital markets.
Before joining KWM, Yuan spent six years working as a counsel at Cooley’s Beijing office and previously practised at the Beijing office of Davis Polk.
She has worked on the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China’s USD19 billion IPO in 2006, which debuted on both the A and H-share markets, as well as the Agricultural Bank of China’s USD22 billion Hong Kong IPO in 2010. Both were once the world’s largest IPOs when they listed.
Yuan also specialises in US securities, M&A and general corporate. At KWM, Yuan will work closely with the firm’s US securities team in the Hong Kong office to advise clients on complex cross-border transactions.
