Digital Realty, a global provider of cloud and carrier-neutral data centre, colocation, and interconnection solutions, has announced the opening of its new Global Command Center (GCC) in Singapore, enhancing its global operational capabilities with a state-of-the-art facility integrated into its command centre network.
In a statement, the company noted that the new Asia Pacific facility will collaborate with established command centres in North, Central, and South America, Europe, and Africa, serving as a central hub for alarm monitoring, incident management, site support, and customer experience optimisation across Digital Realty’s global platform of more than 300 data centres.
“Our customers rely on us to keep their critical operations running securely and seamlessly, wherever they are in the world. The Global Command Center provides 24/7, real-time oversight of mission-critical infrastructure, with the aim of identifying and responding to potential issues promptly to minimise impact,” said Thomas Gorman, senior vice president, global operations.
“This enhances service reliability and enables our customers to respond faster, operate smarter, and optimise for next-generation AI workloads,” he added.
