Sutton United (Birmingham) joint manager Liam Burke said: “Really good first half. We were a slow start maybe. Left-right, we want to try get forward a little bit with that pass, try and get further up there into their half.

“Once we started doing that, we got first, good set-piece goal. Second can quite as soon after. I think rightly so, we got third. It a really good first half, could have had a couple of more, but second half. Probably a bit sluggish, got a fourth and we sort of stopped playing a little bit of football. A greatly fair play, kept the go, got back into it, got a goal but a good four-goal win into the next round.

Joint manager Richard Heath added: “Yeah, like I said, we watched them twice so we had a little plan. It worked perfectly today. I just thought it was a great day for the club, good goals, we played really well. I think 1,350 fans here to support us, just an unbelievable day for the club.”

Liam said: “Like we’ve said before, this club is amazing, a club, the infrastructure, the people behind the scenes, the work that goes into it. The junior section, the girls’ section, it shows how good the club is.

“There’s no other club in the area, no other club probably up and down the country that gets that kind of support. They’ve been great all season, they were superb today, they didn’t stop all game. The boys really appreciate this.”

Richard: “Yeah, I just think I want to thank everyone, all the volunteers as well, helped out today. have 20+ volunteers. It’s been a long two and a half weeks planning the day and yeah, in five hours, here we go.
